Unemployed at 40: Honest Story of Job Loss, Depression & New Beginnings

In March 2024, I lost my job as a Brand Marketing Strategist & Copywriter in the beauty industry, a field I’ve dedicated 18 years of my life to. Since then, it’s been an uphill battle trying to find work, and the weight of unemployment has taken a toll on my mental health. This video is my honest story of grief, uncertainty, depression, and also… hope. Instead of waiting for the perfect opportunity, I’ve decided to start creating my own content. I’m still looking for work (bills don’t pay themselves!), but I’m shifting my focus to building something of my own. Living with mental illness isn’t easy, but I’m deeply grateful for my support system, my family and friends who reminded me of the light I couldn’t see in myself for a while. If you’re starting over, feeling stuck, or just need a reminder that you’re not alone, this one’s for you. Thanks for being here. Let’s begin again — together. 💛 xo, Christine Venmo: https://venmo.com/u/ChristineMichel CashApp: https://cash.app/$ChrisMichel TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@black_barbie0...
