Zubeen Da, a living, unbound book, poured countless hues of music, teaching an entire generation how to live through songs. From the cacophony of bombs and the cries of bullets, he gifted Assam a new life, introducing “Anamika” to us. Zubeen Da –the creator of melodies, Zubeen Da – the miner who dug deep into the soul of Assamese life. We, the students of Gauhati Medical College, were fortunate enough to meet Zubeen da on the evening of September 15, 2025 for our college magazine which soon turned out to be a warm, heartfelt conversation filled with laughter and wisdom. It never felt like talking to The Zubeen Garg but someone amongst our friends and family. We just wanted to listen to him without interrupting. Today, we share this video so that everyone can listen to him one more time, feel his presence, and keep him in our hearts forever.
