From Skateboard Pro to Permaculture Pioneer: Hugo Liard's Radical Life Change
French skateboarder Hugo Liard (co-founder of Antiz Skateboards) decided at some point to leave the skate industry and go back to nature. He bought some land in Evian, next to Lake Geneva and taught himself to build a house, just by watching YouTube videos and following advice from local builders. After finishing this project, he moved on to create a permaculture farm on a neighboring property. Now he lives mostly off of the vegetables he grows. We visited him to learn how he became self-sufficient – and we also squeezed in a little session at the indoor skatepark in Lausanne. If you want to get more info, here’s the link to the farm: https://www.jardinsdesolune.com/ More from us: website // https://bubbleskatemag.com/ instagram // / bubbleskatemag tiktok // / bubbleskatemag
