അമൃത് ഭാരത് പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി കേരളത്തിലെ അഞ്ച് റെയില്‍വേ സ്റ്റേഷനുകളുടെ നവീകരണം പൂര്‍ത്തിയായി ഉദ്ഘാടനത്തിന് ഒരുങ്ങുന്നു. മംഗളൂരു ജങ്ഷന്‍, കാസര്‍കോട്, പയ്യന്നൂര്‍, ഒറ്റപ്പാലം, അങ്ങാടിപ്പുറം എന്നീ സ്റ്റേഷനുകളാണ് അവസാനവട്ട മിനുക്കുപണികള്‍ക്ക് ശേഷം തുറന്നുകൊടുക്കാന്‍ തയ്യാറെടുക്കുന്നത്.കേരളത്തിലെ റെയില്‍വേ വികസനത്തിന്റെ പുതിയ മുഖമായ ഈ പദ്ധതിയുടെ പ്രധാന സവിശേഷതകള്‍ ഇവയൊക്കെ ആണ്. Kerala's railway infrastructure is set for a major upgrade as five railway stations have completed redevelopment under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme and are preparing for inauguration. The redeveloped stations include Mangaluru Junction railway station, Kasaragod railway station, Payyanur railway station, Ottapalam railway station, and Angadipuram railway station. After the final phase of finishing work, these stations are ready to welcome passengers with upgraded facilities and a modern look. The Amrit Bharat Station Scheme aims to transform railway stations into world-class transport hubs by improving passenger convenience, accessibility, safety, and overall travel experience. The redevelopment includes modern station buildings, enhanced waiting areas, improved platforms, better lighting, digital passenger information systems, upgraded toilets, lifts and escalators where applicable, improved parking facilities, landscaping, and enhanced accessibility for senior citizens and differently-abled passengers.
