(33/52) Something By: The Beatles George Harrison Aloha everyone! Hope everyone's doing great! This week we have a Beatle tune on solo ukulele. I couldn't really work on anything this week since we had a sickness going around in our household. For those wondering, it isn't what you think it is. We got tested and we're clear of THAT. Regardless, time nor health was not on my side this week so I decided to just keep it simple with an ukulele solo. I've done this song before on the channel but I figured I could dust off a classic and update it for this project. This arrangement is from a video that I saw a while back with Jake Shimabukuro jamming with a Japanese guitar player, Char. I watched that video OVER AND OVER to get the arrangement down. Then a year later, Jake and I did this song after filming a Uke minute for Ukulele Underground. So many memories with this tune. I actually use this song to test out ukuleles. This song puts the test on Ukes via long notes, short notes, dynamics, bend intonation, and attack threshold. Hope you guys like the video! Hope to feel better soon so I can keep these videos coming.
