A performance review is a process for evaluating a company's employees. It allows businesses to assess the effectiveness of an individual or team and provide constructive feedback. For employees, it helps them identify their strengths and weaknesses and determine their development trajectory. A performance review consists of three stages: self-review (where the employee describes their achievements), peer review (where their peers do the same), and calibration (where managers provide assessments).
