After graduating from university in 2011, he went to Germany to study clinical medicine at the Large Animal Clinic of the University of Hannover. He then traveled to Kentucky in the United States and trained as a veterinary assistant at Park Equine Hospital. After returning to Japan in 2014, he worked in the medical department of the Hidaka Light Horse Breeding Association, and has been working at Shadai Farm since 2016.
