The sister of a man from Castleford, UK, who died seven years after a one‑punch attack says her family has been denied justice after the attacker was jailed for just 15 months. Simon Hackett, 35, suffered catastrophic brain injuries after being punched in 2015 and never recovered, dying in 2022. His attacker, Jordan Docherty, had already served time for the assault and was sentenced again for manslaughter.
