Trains at Smethwick Galton Bridge, WCML - 31/7/18

Welcome to another episode of Big Trip! Today I am at Smethwick Galton Bridge on the Snow Hill Lines and the West Coast Main Line where services are seen by West Midlands Railway, London Northwestern Railway, CrossCountry, Arriva Trains Wales and Virgin Trains. It was a much better session at Smethwick Galton Bridge this time round as it did not end abruptly and had a bit more on show this time. The top level was again brilliant with seeing 172s along with an unexpected appearance! The lower level had all the passes going under the footbridge but the stoppers were great with Arriva Trains Wales showing off their beautiful Perkins 158s. A much more satisfactory visit here, one I'd recommend!
