どんな樹種でも同様ですが、ボサボサで蒸れた状態を嫌います。 特に梅雨時は。 今回は、杜松を掃除して、その後徒長枝を剪定しました。 芽吹き、もしくは芽当りを意識して切り戻していく作業です。 繊細な樹種ですから、丁寧な剪定で枝枯れなどを防ぎたいところです。 All tree species dislike leaving unkempt and stuffy, especilly in the rainy season. This time, I removed old leaves out of needle junipers and pruned long branches. It is a work to cur the branches back while checking the buds.
