My X8 Cinelifter Flys Better than Most Freestyle Drones (And it doesn't cost as much as you think)

Join me as I rip 4 packs with my 8 inch X8 cinelifter on a stunning day in the Western Highlands of Scotland. Flight footage with the amazing 12 bit colour Blackmagic Micro G2, and telemetry from DJI O4 Pro. I start off with a lithium polymer battery, and then demonstrate the performance of the tabless lithium Ion packs, using the latest cells to give lipo like performance at a fraction of the cost and weight of a similar capacity lipo. There is quite a misconception that these aircraft are super expensive and unobtainable... if you don't count the camera, this one cost me only a bit more than a decent 7 inch would to put together. The camera cost less than most would spend on a decent DSLR too... The AOS UL8 Cine frame has been designed with the motors low, with the battery and camera top mounted. This makes it handle like a freestyle quad! It has so much grip and power... for a pilot who likes to throw the aircraft around... it's near perfect! 02:38 - Pack 1 4000mah 60c lithium polymer 07:34 - Pack 2 8S2P Molicel P50b lithium ion (Showing off to the excavator operator... šŸ˜†) 12:27 - Pack 3 8S2P Reliance RS50 lithium ion (some annoying jello) 21:44 - Pack 4 8S2P reliance RS50 lithium ion Unfortunately I made a couple of mistakes again today! I didnt notice that the camera was a bit loose for the first couple of packs, so there are some wobbles in the footage... it's not too bad actually, but definitely noticable! There is also a bit of jello in pack number 3... I think it's the USB cable between the camera and SSD vibrating the camera (I have it tucked in between the camera and the battery). It's not so bad in the other packs. The learning curve continues, but I will get this dialled in! A really enjoyable session... I'm starting to get to grips with how this thing handles! A few more sessions like this and I think I'll be ready to find things to chase.... If you enjoy my flow, and like to have your head spun around while exploring Scotland's hills and coastlines with 5 and 7 inch quadcopters, check out my selection of "no-stab" rips...
