It didn't turn out exactly how I wanted (except for the last part, I love that last part) but Haydée took an early look at it and she gave her stamp of approval, so we should be good to go. I think, given time and proper character development, Derek and Casey could actually make a real healthy, functional couple in canon, and this is my way of painting that picture.
