BRIEFING: Update on building collapse in George
Premier Alan Winde and numerous role players will today give an update on the emergency response to the building collapse tragedy in Victoria Street in George. Since the incident, more than 600 emergency and disaster management officials have been working tirelessly at the site. “You are true heroes and we are immensely grateful for all you are doing in this very difficult time,” reiterated the Premier. Operations will continue for as long as necessary, with all the required resources in place to ensure they proceed seamlessly.
