Ep 14: Music! DIY speaker build ESPHome Squeezelite ESP32 amplifier

Squeezelite ESP32 speaker bluetooth Apple AirPlay TAS5805M DAC configuration diy build your own. How I built an ESP32 outdoor Bluetooth speaker for my garden gazebo. The speaker has both Bluetooth 4.2 and Apple AirPlay plus Spotify connect. I designed a sealed speaker enclosure with a 4" passive radiator along with a Dayton Audio full range driver. The main driver is a Dayton Audio ND90-8 aluminium cone full range 3.5inch driver at 8ohms. This is perfect for use outdoors and gives professional quality sound with good bass frequencies. This video goes through the design and build of the speaker. We chose an ESP32 Louder audio development board that comes with an ESP32 WROVER chip, a TAS5805M DAC (digital to analog converter) and a 45 watt D-class amplifier. In this video we describe the process of setting the DAC control set register map to enable a 3 band set of EQ filters suitable for use in the garden environment.
