V6 Supercars - The scrapped Supercars V6 plans

At the end of 2014, a new regulation set was proposed for the V8 Supercars Championship, which would not only allow manufacturers to change body shape, and also have more aero parity, but it also allowed them to explore the opportunity of replacing their existing V8 engine with either a 4 cylinder turbo engine, or the most highlights example a V6 engine. Holden would explore the opportunity to develop the latter, and this video I go through the brief history of the engine, and why it ended up being scrapped.
