We absolutely loved what we found in the Netherlands-come see for yourself! Places we explored: 1. Den Haag/The Hague 2. Tulip Field Chasing on the island called ‘Goeree-Overflakkee’ 3. The Dutch Coast 4. Windmills at Kinderdijk The Hague is a city on the North Sea coast of the western Netherlands. It is home to the Dutch parliament, the Noordeinde Palace, the U.N.’s International Court of Justice, and the International Criminal Court. In late April and early May, the tulip fields in the Netherlands burst into full bloom! We recommend visiting the island called ‘Goeree-Overflakkee’ to have a tourist-free experience! The Spring season truly is the best time to visit the Netherlands and see the country from one of its best sides. Holland is well known for its beaches. The Dutch coastline offers unlimited opportunities for water sport fanatics & nature lovers! Since the country is fairly small, we recommend driving the distance to make a stop at the coast. :) Situated on a calm riverbank and surrounded by a stunning grassland, you can visit nineteen windmills at Kinderdijk. This is a UNESCO World Heritage sight, and is truly such a beautiful and unique sight!
