Hamilton to Niagara: The Sea-Doo Ride That Changed Instantly

Hamilton to Niagara and back - a perfect summer ride that turned into an absolute battle against Lake Ontario. We set out from Hamilton Harbour in good conditions, that then went to absolute mirror-calm conditions, making incredible time on the Sea-Doo all the way down to Niagara. It was the perfect Sea-Doo adventure... until the weather took a massive turn. As we were just coming back down the Niagara River at Queenston, the winds suddenly picked up, but what we didn't expect were the 50km/h winds whipping up Lake Ontario. Turning a smooth 1-hour cruise into a brutal, 2.5-hour fight against relentless waves on the way back. Mark Forrest was trying out a brand new Sea-Doo RXP X 325 on this ride and myself and Woody were riding our usual GTX models. If you've ever been caught out on the Great Lakes when the weather flips, you know exactly how fast things can get sketchy.
