My tiny apartment in Hong Kong was designed to fully utilize the limited space is available. Rent was $1500 CAD per month. In the short time that I’ve lived here, I got a realistic experience of what the average quality of life might be like for many locals in the city. Tiny as it is, this apartment was able to fulfill all my day-to-day needs. Some might even say that it’s a small luxury (by HK standards) that I got to have this space all to myself. In HK, it’s not uncommon to see an entire family share a single studio or a small one-bedroom apartment.
