I Never Knew I Had an Aortic Aneurysm

Our inaugural episode, "I Never Knew I Had an Aortic Aneurysm – A Patient's Journey with the Cardiac Surgeon Who Saved My Life," is a conversation between me and Prof. Dr. Niranjan Hiremath, the cardiac surgeon who performed my life saving Bentall Procedure. Rather than a traditional medical interview, this is an open conversation from two perspectives the patient and the surgeon. Together, we discuss how an aortic aneurysm can remain silent for years, the emotional journey from diagnosis to surgery, preparing for open-heart surgery, recovery, living with a repaired aorta, lifelong follow-up, medications, preventing complications, and the questions that patients and families often wish they had asked.
