In 2016, we left Germany and moved to Paraguay in search of freedom, independence, and a simpler life closer to nature. Our dream was clear: a piece of land, a food forest, and warm weather all year round. But reality turned out very different. In this video, we share why we eventually left Paraguay – and what really happened during our time there. From unexpected climate challenges and failed self-sufficiency attempts to break-ins and growing insecurity in our area. This is our honest, unfiltered experience. Paraguay was not a mistake for us.
