This CBU (Completely Built Up) motorcycle from India is sold for just IDR 59.5 million on the road in Jakarta. It's cheaper than its competitors, the 250cc sport-touring bikes sold in Indonesia. Despite the lower price, it's not disappointing. The 250cc engine, which is only SOHC and doesn't have a radiator, is quite satisfying. The 2023 Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX features the Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) concept engine, producing a maximum power of 25.4 hp at 9,300 rpm and a maximum torque of 22.2 Nm at 7,300 rpm. The power delivery is smooth, typical of a touring bike, and remains responsive. It's even on par with the CRF250 Rally and KTM Adventure 250, which have more advanced engines. The riding position is also comfortable, making long rides less tiring. The seat is soft, and the back rests comfortably upright. The rear suspension feels soft, while the front has a bit too short travel for a two-wheeled adventure bike. The Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX feels more suited to smooth asphalt than rough roads. The Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX uses a 41mm telescopic front suspension and a single rear suspension with 7 preload settings. It's also equipped with a comprehensive range of features, including disc brakes with an anti-lock braking system (ABS) as standard equipment. The fuel tank is 12 liters, and there's an engine guard, hand guards, and a rear rack that doubles as a rear rack. The headlamp and taillight are LED, while the turn signals still use bulbs. There's also a power outlet for charging smartphones or navigation devices.
