From Competition to Stage: Becoming a Concerto Soloist
Each year, Juilliard music students may enter competitions to be concerto soloists with the Juilliard Orchestra. This is the story of one such competition; the winner performed the U.S. premiere of a concerto by Michael Jarrell.
