Wild Gibbon Fall In Love With The Rescued Gibbon

GIB Neela is a gibbon that we rescued a few years ago. He came to us very weak and with injuries. After a period of rehab, he lived with us happily in his tower where he learned to swing and play again, getting stronger every day. We always hoped for the day of release into the jungle, but feared for his safety from poachers and from lack of a wild nature. Our Ranger team has largely secured the safety of the forest. His wild nature can return to him in baby steps. With great delight, we witness how smitten he is with a young wild gibbon (who we have named Gibb Naree), who has been visiting him daily for some time now. They sing and talk and touch each other. But as of today there is no longer a barrier between them. At long last, both of them can be together fully and return to the wild at Cambodia Wildlife Sanctuary.
