Sheringham Level Crossing: A Rebuilt Railway! (HD)
Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th March, 2010. Work went on throughout the night under the Network Rail possession to connect together the final pieces of Sheringham Level Crossing. 17m were needed to rejoin the two lines - by 9am the crossing was in and signed off. A DRS Class 37 was used to test the crossing and became the first locomotive to cross the road in over 40 years. Peter Boggis captured the moment that the 37 crossed the road in an excellent video which can be found here: • Mission Accomplished.wmv
