Here we have a song by The Devin Townsend Project called Kingdom - this one goes out to my long time friend and sometime musical collaborator Lee Raisbeck. Thanks to Michael Robson for this awesome request! Day 5 of my 2019 challenge and here we have it – my first metal request. Think I’ve done quite well to do this for 4 years without encountering this genre! My version is verrrrrry different to the original. Devin’s vocals are just something else – he switches so easily between sounding like he could be in musical theatre into metal screamo-mode, and try as I might that just ain’t me. So here’s a Taymar take on things! For the guitarists – this one is in the tuning: DADGAD.
