Plan B Paid Off! Michigan Kayak Bass Fishing

We started with one plan... throw frogs through the lily pads at Moore Lake and chase some summertime largemouth with Scott from Scott Hill Outdoors. Well... the fish had other ideas. After spending about an hour and a half working the pads with very little action, the day took an unexpected turn. We decided to regroup, make a quick stop, and head over to Lower Pettibone Lake to see if a change of scenery would make a difference. Sometimes the best decision you can make isn't changing your bait... it's changing lakes. We didn't put a pile of fish in the kayak, but we found a better bite, enjoyed a great day on the water, and proved once again that adapting is one of the most important skills any angler can have. If you've ever had to scrap the original game plan and make a move to save the day, let me know in the comments! 🎣 Gear I use: 🛒 Amazon Store: https://www.amazon.com/shop/smakreela... https://a.co/d/003W6es3 📺 Follow SMAK Reel & Camp: 📘 Facebook Page:   / smakreelandcamp   👥 Facebook Group: Michigan Fishing Reports and Talk   / 1gejdrdpvn   📸 Instagram:   / smakreelandcamp   🎵 TikTok:   / smakreelandcamp   👍 If you enjoyed the video, please LIKE, COMMENT, and SUBSCRIBE.
