The Great Adventure - A Journey Inside the Africa Eco Race

The Great Adventure follows the Yamaha Ténéré Rally Team's Alessandro Botturi and Pol Tarrés as they take on the 2022 Africa Eco Race, one of the toughest rally raid events in the world. Riding production-based Ténéré 700 World Raid twin-cylinder motorcycles, the team traverses nearly 6,000 kilometres as they retrace the original Paris-Dakar routes through Morocco, Mauritania, and Senegal. Starting in Monaco and finishing at the legendary Lac Rose in Dakar, the rally features vast mountain ranges, endless dunes, extreme heat, and some of the most demanding terrain on the planet. For experienced rally rider Alessandro Botturi and newcomer Pol Tarrés, the Africa Eco Race becomes a defining test. Deep in the Mauritanian desert, small mistakes can escalate quickly, and the consequences are far more serious than simply losing time, leaving riders exposed to genuinely dangerous, life-threatening situations.
