Hunstanton "Wash Monster" LARC 15/LARC XV Amphibious Landing Craft
Photos of this vehicle (and our day out) can be found here: http://rhobbs.co.uk/beb This was a short trip on the "Wash Monster" at Hunstanton. This vehicle is a "Lighter, Amphibious Resupply, Cargo" 15 ton vehicle powered by two 300 hp Cummins engines which has been converted to a vehicle suitable for public trips around Hunstanton, also including viewing seals (a little further out to sea). More info on this vehicle can be read here: http://www.globalsecurity.org/militar... If you want a trip on the Wash Monster (or the World War 2 DUKW), take a look here: http://www.seatours.co.uk/
