Hope had no choice but to compel her to forget her discovery and fled town. But after a few years of mourning the loss of their friendship, Hope returns, but not alone – she’s with Landon, a rare species himself. What Cheryl doesn’t know, though, is that Hope doesn’t really like him, she pretends she does so he will reveal his identity, for he is too powerful and tied to a power-hungry, evil bloodline. Hope eventually gets the truth and executes him, but Cheryl catches her in the act.
