TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has officially appointed Rudi Margono as Acting Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) following the resignation of Febrie Adriansyah. Rudi Margono previously served as Junior Attorney General for Supervision (Jamwas). This appointment was made to ensure that all duties, functions, and authorities within Jampidsus continue to operate until a permanent official is appointed. Rudi Margono began his career as a staff member at the Magetan District Attorney's Office in 1994. During his career in the Adhyaksa Corps, he held various positions, including Assistant for Special Crimes at the Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office. He then served as Deputy Head of the East Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office, Deputy Head of the Yogyakarta Special Region High Prosecutor's Office, and Director of the Junior Attorney General for Civil and State Administration. In addition to his career at the Prosecutor's Office, Rudi also participated in the selection process for the Deputy for Enforcement and Execution at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). In 2023, he was the only candidate from the Prosecutor's Office to make it into the top six candidates for the KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution. However, the position was ultimately filled by Inspector General Rudi Setiawan. In addition to his work at the Prosecutor's Office, Rudi Margono is also active in academia. For his contributions to the legal field, Rudi Margono was inaugurated as an Honorary Professor of Criminal Law at the Faculty of Law, Sultan Agung Islamic University (Unissula), Semarang, on November 15, 2025.
