The fact that our garden wasn't flooded on June 4, 2024, is simply because the rain stopped in time. Ten minutes longer and the water from the nearby mountain would have flowed into the garden. The consequences of our local authorities' negligence are visible everywhere – unmowed drainage ditches and verges. Even though I mow the verges myself, I can't do it along the entire stretch of road. And as you know, there's strength in numbers. Besides the sad reality, I discuss the plantings in another flowerbed and show the beauty of this flowerbed and its plantings in the rain. A garden can be beautiful in the rain, too.
