Three time kiting world champion, Johnny Heineken, dancing with the red nun buoy on SF Bay during some significant swell and fresh breeze. The style and grace of Johnny on a wing foil is awesome to behold, despite San Francisco Bay being one of the most challenging places to sail in the world. Few people know the bay as well as he does. When people see his amazing fluidity, in often violent sea, and wind states, they simply say ‘oh ya, that’s Johnny’ (true story). Johnny’s using a 5m Ozone Wing, Mike’s Lab foil and Ken Adgate board. This particular day had an powerful ebb (water flowing out of the bay), with a stiff breeze blowing into the bay from a winter storm and sizable winter swell from the Pacific Ocean, making another beautiful day on the bay.
