Minimal - Bourse de Commerce Paris | Exhibition Walkthrough

This video documents my visit to Minimal, an exhibition presented at the Bourse de Commerce – Pinault Collection in Paris, from 8 October 2025 to 19 January 2026. Rather than explaining the works, this walkthrough focuses on how the exhibition unfolds in space, through light, materials, scale, and the physical relationship between the artworks, the architecture, and the viewer. Minimal brought together a major selection of works from the Pinault Collection, alongside important loans, tracing the development of minimal art since the early 1960s. The exhibition explored how artists shifted attention away from representation and narration, toward perception, presence, and direct experience. Organised across several thematic sections — including light, monochrome, grid, materiality, equilibrium, surface, and Mono-ha — the exhibition brought together artists from North and South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Works by artists such as Agnes Martin, Dan Flavin, Robert Ryman, On Kawara, Felix Gonzalez-Torres, Lygia Pape, Lee Ufan, Kishio Suga, Richard Serra, Meg Webster, Dorothea Rockburne, Mary Corse, and others appeared throughout the spaces of the Bourse de Commerce. This is not a guide or a commentary. It’s simply an invitation to move through the exhibition and experience it as it is.
