To compensate on the energy, I eat more oatmeal and blueberries. Oatmeal contains carbs that break down slowly (provides long lasting energy) and soluble fiber (stabilizes blood sugar, lowers cholesterol and improves digestion). Oatmeal contains calcium, vitamin D and B12 (check the package though). Blueberries contain antioxidants (they protect cells against oxidative stress and inflammation), fiber and vitamin C. Raisins contain natural sugars, a quick source of energy and iron. The seedmix contains healthy fats (omega3 fatty acids), protein, fiber and minerals (magnesium and iron). This is good for your heart, muscles and digestion among other things. Cinnamon contains antioxidants, is anti-inflammatory and balances your blood sugar. Peanut butter has healthy fats and proteins (good for a stable blood sugar level) and minerals, such as magnesium, kalium and vitamin E. Since filming this video, I also add turmeric, which works anti-inflammatory and contains antioxidants, which prevent inflammation, improves brain function and digestion, and support the heart. Supplements: Magnesium malate in the morning (improves energy levels, supports muscle recovery and lowers muscle pain and fatigue) and taurate in the evening (promotes relaxation, reduces stress, supports heart health and can improve sleep). If I don't take magnesium, I'll get muscle cramps, that's when I know I probably have a deficiency. Omega3 with DHA (good for the health of you brain and can improve brain function + is good for your eye health) and EPA (good for heart health and is anti-inflammatory). I eat largely plant-based, that's why I take this. K2 + D3, both improve the intake of calcium, which is good for your bones. D3 improves the immune system and K2 improves heart health, because it prevents calcium accumulation in the veins. It is good to take for everyone who lives in a country with a low amount of sun hours. I am outside a lot, so in summer I take this every other day. Ashwagandha, because I had a very stressful time and it seems to help contain chronic stress, improve stress resistance and improves relaxation and calmness. If I finish this, I won't buy new ones. Vitamin B12, which is food for energy, nerves, mental health and anemia. Because I eat largely plant-based, I take this, but eating animal products is no guarantee for having enough B12. Vitamin C, because I used to have a serious deficiency. It is good for your immune system. I feel like I get enough vitamin C from my food now, so I'll stop taking it when it's finished.
