The time has finally come - Sprout enters Endwalker! My strategy? Completely avoid all emotions and just focus on the gameplay. Surely I can get through this expansion without getting attached to characters or crying at cutscenes, right? It's foolproof! After Shadowbringers and the post-expansion content emotionally destroyed me, I've learned my lesson. This time I'm going in with zero emotional investment. Just gonna breeze through the story, ignore all the character development, and definitely not get invested in whatever's happening to the Scions. Easy! My emotion-avoidance plan: Skip all optional dialogue, don't think too hard about the implications, and absolutely DO NOT get attached to any new characters. This is definitely going to work and I won't end up sobbing at my desk.
