We just rode the Amtrak Cascades(Vancouver to Seattle) and did a US border crossing with Amtrak on our way from Vancouver to Seattle. We rode in Business Class on this trip. The day started in Vancouver after arriving into town on Via Rail The Canadian on our way to Seattle, Washington. The trip took around 5 hours and was very pleasant, and great Amtrak trip if you are looking for a quick vacation to or from Canada.
