The Asian Utility Vehicle, in the Philippine context, was a moment in motoring time that is unlikely to be repeated. These class of vehicles were rugged and unsophisticated, but were immensely practical, easy to maintain, and loved by Filipino families for decades. Unfortunately, shifting trends spelled the end of these cars.
