Yorkshire Dales Country Walk The Yorkshire Three Peaks No 1 Pen y ghent from Horton in Ribblesdal
Our video is a guided walk in the Yorkshire Dales. From Horton in Ribblesdale we walk up to Pen-y-ghent, the first fell of the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, and return on the Pennine Way. This is a moderate to hard walk on good footpaths and tracks with some steep ascents and descents. Elevation: Approx lowest point 229.40m (752.62ft) approx highest point 691.30m (2,268ft). Approx 6.5 miles allow 3 to 4 hours using OS Explorer Map OL2. Yorkshire Dales, Southern and Western areas. Start point: Station Road, Horton-in-Ribblesdale near the railway station.
