007 FIRST LIGHT | 4K Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

We continue to archive the games that I missed during my trip to Tokyo and today we archive James Bond 007 First Light. This game was developed by the same developers of Hitman. Hitman is a franchise very dear to my heart and therefore I was looking forward to First Light very much. But the end result actually blew me away and I can easily say that 007 First Light is the biggest surprise for me of 2026 so far. The game mixes different genres of gameplay and sprinkles it with that satisfying and atmospheric Hitman formula. We follow the initial days of James Bond as he joins MI6 and gets sent out to various locations in the world. The pacing of the game is really good and I was surprised how much I cared about some of the characters and twists that occured. I have heard some people describe the beginning as boring, but I love how they take the time to flesh out the training sequences and build up the relationships with your fellow 00 trainees. The areas you go to are also gorgeous and feel alive with so many characters walking about. The game definitely is more mainstream as you get some Hitman-esque options to perform, but usually these puzzles are solved within several minutes. But since I associate mainstream with James Bond it did not bother me. Probably my biggest critique is that there is a big part in the middle of several hours where you traverse through boring looking secret facilities and these simply do not have that same charm as the lively areas earlier and later in the game.
