The title holds deep significance—it’s his mother’s name, symbolizes the tears of joy music has brought him, and represents the father figure he wished his mother had met. Through this project, Omali explores themes of love, resilience, and identity. Despite challenges like a studio crash that forced him to re-record the entire EP, Omali remained committed to his vision. He collaborated with artists like Atii Zee and Cityzen LS, embracing the philosophy of “collaboration over competition.” His music balances originality with the emerging Ts’epe wave of Sesotho Hip-Hop, offering a sound that’s fresh yet authentic . Omali’s message goes beyond music—he encourages listeners to embrace their stories, be patient with love, and appreciate music in their native language.
