We tested one of the last remaining compact MPVs, the Renault Scenic. A minivan that now faces off against the new SUVs, kings of the segment and clearly developing. Within the Renault range, there is a top-level competitor, the Kadjar, a family-oriented SUV that competes with the Scenic. We compare design versus modularity, in this unit with a 150 hp dCi diesel engine, which seems to us the best alternative for family use and the one with the best performance/consumption ratio. It loses the three individual rear seats in favor of a 2/3 split bench seat, but maintains good roominess, plenty of storage spaces, and a modularity rarely found in SUVs.
