Homestead diary: A day off with us: A walk to Lake Doiran

Sometimes the best days are the ones where we just slow down. We start with the sunrise in the garden, catch the magic of the storks, and finish with a peaceful walk along Lake Doiran in Macedonia. ​The lake is surrounded by the Belasica mountain range, and this area is always much cooler than where we live. Even though it was a very hot day, the strong wind by the water actually brought us a wonderful, refreshing breeze and was more than welcome. You can catch the wind in the footage, but it's all part of the true, lively atmosphere by the lake on that day.
