Big battles on the road to a championship fight. Ironman Raceway would be no walk in the park for Mikayla. Tough first moto battling for second place as Mikayla's rear wheel spun out causing her to crash and costing valuable time. Heading into moto 2 after a red flagged first lap, the moto was cut down from 15minutes to only 5 minutes plus a lap due to tv time restrictions. the race was on with a great jump and instantly battling wheel to wheel for second place, last lap push she checked up on the triple face causing a big crash. Tough as she is, with the wind knocked out of her she got up and to cross the line. Unfortunately that accident cost her valued points in the championship pushing her back to 3rd overall.
