Krzeszów: Kapliczka kolumnowa

The restored pillar chapel in Krzeszów was officially consecrated. The consecration marked the final stage of the project of the Krzeszów Optimists Association, entitled "St. Anne's Pillar Chapel." The ceremony was attended by all those who contributed to its implementation: Sisters Elizabeth and their Mother Superior, the President of the "Kwiat Lnu" Association, members of the Krzeszów village council, the contractor of the pillar, members of the Krzeszów Optimists Association, and the residents of Krzeszów. The act of consecration was performed by Father Prelate Jerzy of the Krzeszów sanctuary. The chapel, which once stood on the grounds of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Elizabeth on St. John of Nepomuk Street, was recreated based on an old photograph. It is worth noting that the route from Krzeszów to St. Anne's Chapel was marked by five pillar chapels, forming the so-called Way of the Five Joys of St. Anne, or the Way of Our Lady. Only three of these chapels remain. The Krzeszów Optimists Association received a grant of PLN 19,976 to finance the project under Sub-Measure "19.2 Support for the implementation of operations within the community-led local development strategy" of the Rural Development Program for 2014-2020 for operations implemented as part of the grant project.
