Start Recording with the Headrush MX5

Welcome to the first of a two part series that covers how to start recording the MX5 into your computer. There's a lot of confusion around this topic so this seemed like a good time to cover it. The MX5 is a fantastic USB Audio interface for your favorite recording software, also known as a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). You really only need the MX5, your computer, and one of several different DAW solutions out there like GarageBand, ProTools, Logic, Cubase, etc. In this video, I'm using Reaper, which is a great DAW for the money.
