The Telangana government has announced the release of the first installment of Rythu Bharosa financial assistance for the 2026 Kharif season. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will launch the fund distribution at the Rythu Ashirvada Sabha in Hyderabad, with ₹2,482 crore being credited to the bank accounts of 41.37 lakh farmers owning up to two acres of land. The government plans to release a total of ₹9,000 crore in phases to benefit 73.32 lakh farmers across the state. Farmers will receive an SMS once the amount is credited, and those who do not receive it should verify that their Aadhaar is linked to their bank account.
