Mario Tennis is a 2000 sports rpg. In the game you can play as Alex or Nina in singles with Harry or Kate respectively as their doubles partner. They are on a quest to earn their spot on the traveling team to become the top tennis player at the Island Open and then to verse the greatest player of them all, Mario. This is the second game in the main Mario Tennis series with the N64 being the first, but the series had two predecessors: Mario's Tennis on Virtual Boy and Tennis on the Famicom/NES.
