But the Norwegian cake "Verdens beste" or "Kvæfjord" will definitely become one of your favorite "delicacies." #norwegiancake #bestintheworldcake #Verdensbeste #kvæfjord #norwegiancake #kvefjordkake #ValentinaRohr INGREDIENTS: For the dough: flour - 160 g sugar - 100 g vanilla sugar - 1 packet - 8 g butter - 100 g 4 egg yolks Milk - 25 ml (3 tablespoons) Baking powder - 1 teaspoon Pinch of salt For the MERINGUE: Egg whites from 4 eggs Sugar - 200 g Pinch of salt Sliced ​​almonds - 50-70 g (other nuts are possible, but the original recipe calls for almonds) CREAM: (You can use butter cream with condensed milk or custard, but I suggest this one :) Whipping cream, at least 30% fat - 300 ml Boiled condensed milk - 200 g Thickener (cream thickener) - 1 packet (if you're using homemade heavy cream or high-fat sour cream, you won't need any thickener!) Bake for 20 minutes at 160°C (with or without convection) or 170°C. Then reduce the temperature to 140°C (with or without convection) and 160°C (with or without convection). Bake for another 35-40 minutes. Adjust according to your oven's specifications! DO NOT OPEN THE OVEN FOR AT LEAST 30 MINUTES DURING BAKING!
