[ITA] Gargano - Mediterranean Majesty è un video time-lapse in 4k che ha ottenuto il patrocinio del Parco Nazionale del Gargano e di ENDAS Puglia. Ha visto la partnership tecnica di aziende del calibro di ShooTools, Montura e Photofuture e la sponsorizzazione di importanti realtà presenti sul territorio, ovvero il Ristorante Al Trabucco da Mimì, Birra del Gargano ed Elda Cantine. Oltre nove mesi di lavoro, quasi 100.000 foto scattate complessivamente, oltre 50 sessioni di esplorazione e scatto per rendere omaggio a questa terra mediterranea, che nella sua maestosa varietà mi ha avvolto e ammaliato. Ho cercato, con tutti i mezzi in mio possesso, di raccontare la varietà e la vastità di questi luoghi e ho scelto come mezzo forte e diretto d’espressione la tecnica della fotografia time-lapse, che incarna il perfetto connubio tra fotografia e video (e musica, in quanto da me appositamente realizzata). È un invito a visitare questi luoghi, nel totale rispetto dei medesimi: dei loro silenzi e del loro clamore, delle storie che hanno da raccontare e dei segreti da custodire. Over 9 months of work, almost 100.000 pictures taken globally, over 50 scouting and shooting sessions to honor this majestic mediterranean land. I’ve tried, with all my means, to tell the variety and the vastity of these places and I chose as a powerful and direct communication way, the time-lapse photography technique, which embodies the perfect bond between photography and video (and music, as I've composed it for the occasion). It’s an invitation to visit these places, in the total respect of them: of their silences and their noise, of the stories they have to tell and the secrets they have to keep.
