This year, the time came when I traveled to the northernmost part of Norway and the chase began! Perhaps the chase is not as expressive as "looking for a needle in a haystack". My clearly stated goal was to catch a capital halibut. Most of the anglers who come here are not so goal-oriented, they are content with other easier-to-catch fish. I wanted the KING, I applied for him, but the living space is huge, and there are very few large flatfish… If you consider these, the realistic chance is extremely small. But I have proven many times that if there is a 1% chance, that is enough, because one is more than zero! In achieving my goal, I was immensely helped by those great, positive people who were always trying to ensure that sooner or later there would be a chance to meet such a fish.
